Delete in the app
- Sign in to the app.
- Go to Settings.
- Open Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Type the confirmation text shown on screen and confirm.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following is deleted or anonymized: your sign-in account, profile data (birthday, birth time, gender, and so on), reading history and conversations, Life Portrait and note, This Year and Your Match, subscription records, usage, point records, education documents, support messages, article likes and bookmarks, and device sign-in records.
Your community posts and comments are shown as "Deleted user" and unlinked from your account so conversations still make sense. If you want the content itself removed, email us.
What may be kept
- Some records may be kept for a necessary period for legal, transaction, dispute, security, fraud-prevention, or platform reasons.
- Deleting the app does not delete your account or cancel your subscription. Cancel subscriptions in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
