Points
Prefer not to subscribe? Buy points instead. 1 point = 1 question, used only after your reading is generated successfully.
1. Payment
- All in-app purchases and subscriptions are paid through the Apple App Store. When the Android version launches, purchases there will go through Google Play.
- Prices, taxes, currency, renewal, cancellation, and refunds follow the App Store checkout and Apple's rules.
- Orbit never receives or stores your card number.
2. Points
- Points are consumable in-app items. 1 point = 1 reading.
- A point is used only after your reading is generated successfully. Failed readings don't use points.
- Points are tied to your account and may be restored or adjusted based on purchase records.
3. Subscriptions
- Orbit offers monthly Lite, Plus, Pro, and Education plans. Available plans, prices, and details are shown in the app and at App Store checkout.
- The Lite first-month offer can be used once per Apple ID, only if you have never subscribed to any Orbit plan. After the first month, it renews at the regular monthly price.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Upgrades, downgrades, and renewal dates are handled by the App Store. Upgrades usually take effect right away; downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
4. Fair use policy
- Each plan includes a different amount of usage, shown as a multiple of Lite.
- To keep the service reliable, we may adjust plan usage or limit clearly abnormal, automated, or abusive use. When you reach your limit, the app tells you when it resets.
5. Education plan
- The Education plan requires verification. Eligibility lasts 365 days from approval.
- If eligibility expires, is rejected, or is revoked, you keep access until the end of the paid period, but may not be able to renew on the Education plan.
6. Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Orbit account does not cancel your subscription.
- Refunds and billing disputes are handled by Apple under its policies. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We're happy to help check your purchase records.
7. Restore purchases
If a purchase or subscription doesn't show correctly, tap Restore Purchases in the app first. If that doesn't help, email jinwei0149@gmail.com with your account, purchase date, and item name.
